Things You Should Know
Just a little info about our policy, information you'll need to bring to your consultation, and for those of you who don't have a clue about pricing, we've added prices of some flowers, just so you know.
Having an appointment for a consultation is very important, it means that I can give you my undivided attention. I'll email you a questionnaire before hand that you can download, fill out and email back to me, that way I have all of your information prior to our meeting. If you have any photos of designs that you are in love with, please bring those with you. Also its great if you have a color swatch of your Brides Maids dress.
Contract? Yes, we do have a contract and I'll give it to you to read over while I prepare your quote.
A retainer fee to book and hold your date will be required. It's 30% of your total wedding bill. A second payment of 30% is required 90 days prior to your wedding and the balance is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding date. At the time of final payment I normally like to have a 30 minute meeting just to go over everything again.
We pride ourselves on working with any budget, any size of wedding and reception. Your budget is very important, please make sure you have your budget set before we meet. Knowing your budget helps me to show you flowers and designs that will work for you. All life changing events will involve a budget, buying a car, your first house together, furniture, and even vacations. Your wedding is a life changing event and you should set your budget to reflect that.
Flower pricing.
Most filler or accent flowers, like yarrow, waxflower, baby roses, freesia, cockscomb, and alstroemeria will run in the $2.00 to $3.50 range.
Things like mini green Hydrangea, Gerbera Daisies, Dendroibum orchids, Roses, Sun Flowers, Snapdragons, Bells of Ireland, and China Mums will run in the $3.00 to $4.00 price range.
Mini Calla lilies, Regular Calla lilies, Stargazer or Casa Blanca lilies, Hydrangea will run in the $6.00 to $8.00 price range.
Peony, Garden roses, Cymbidium orchids will run in the $8.00 to $12.00 price range.
