When I first met with Nicole she told me she wanted her wedding to be happy and fun. She wanted everyone to be comfortable and have a good time. As we discussed flowers, colors and design, she choose roses called Free Spirit and Engagement. Both great coral color but at different spectrum's of the color wheel. She also chose a coral color Gerbera daisy, now that's where the fun comes in. Gerbera are such fun happy flowers and the shade we chose was perfect with the Maids dresses. There ceremony and reception were going to be held at Alexander Homestead in Charlotte. The ceremony was to be held outside and the weather turned out to be beautiful.
Joseph and Nicole met through a mutual friend while they were in high school. They dated for 7 years: both having graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington earlier this year. So, they were high school and college sweethearts. He proposed to her at sunset at the end of a dock on the inter-coastal waterway at Wrightsville Beach, NC. He had dock decorated with balloons and flowers! He is such a romantic.
Nicole says the best thing about their wedding was getting to dance with each other and all of their friends on the dance floor. She said at the end of the day, he is my best friend in the whole world and we have SO MUCH fun together.
